Cosy family park in the North Brabant countryside
Enjoying a wooded holiday park half an hour from the bustling cities of Den Bosch and Nijmegen? That's possible on holiday park Herperduin! With several sports fields, a play forest, swimming pool, restaurant and a real watchtower, there are enough highlights. And the best part: you are always connected to nature here. With dozens of different luxury bungalows and villas, there is a suitable accommodation for every group.
Nature is never far away
In the northeast of the province of Brabant, not far from Oss, is Holiday Park Herperduin. The grounds consist of a large wooded area where you can choose from various accommodations. There are two park-like areas with bungalows and safari tents (Park De Bosrand and Park Herperduin), but you can also camp on the camping area. There are also a few safari tents for an adventurous holiday. Wherever you stand and however you camp, nature is never far away. Trees, plants, bushes, a large sand drift and fens: this holiday park is green!
In and around the swimming pool of holiday park Herperduin it's often a lot of fun. The swimming pool complex named 'De Kriekeput' is located a few hundred metres from the camping and bungalow area. Just cross the road and you are already there. The swimming pool is in the open air, but can be closed off with a roof. So on a cool summer day it is also lovely to swim here. For the youngest guests there is a children's pool with different depths. The large pool has a bubble section and slide. After an afternoon of swimming and playing, the neighbouring terrace of Eeterij De Kriekput is the place to dry off with a drink and a snack. A hundred metres further on you will also find a nice pancake restaurant.
Play forest with watchtower
Apart from several playgrounds there is another special attraction: the large play forest 'Da's Leuk'. It is centrally located between the two holiday park areas (De Bosrand and Herperduin). The various play equipment with nets, walls, poles and slides challenge children to climb, clamber and crawl. Not far from the play area is the impressive watchtower. It is built on a high sand drift. The tower has 112 steps and is no less than 25 metres high. During the summer holidays, an entertainment team entertains young and old with all sorts of activities. And then there is a beautiful mountain bike route through the nature reserve.
Luxury holiday bungalows
The bungalows and villas at Herperduin Holiday Park are a feast for the eyes. Are you coming with two people? Then the Beukenhoeve is a charming accommodation. For larger groups of eight, the forest villas are very spacious and comfortable. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms (including sauna) no one gets in each other's way. Very special is the Van Gogh Design Bungalow (maximum of four persons), completely decorated in the artist's style. So there is something for everyone.
Roller coasters, zoos and shopping afternoons
With the Efteling and Toverland (both located at about 55 kilometres) amusement park lovers have two gems within an hour's drive. And animal lovers can admire the most beautiful animals in ZooParc Overloon (35 km) or go on safari in De Beekse Bergen (50 km). An afternoon of shopping and terraces in the bustling city of Den Bosch or the historic city of Nijmegen is also possible. Get in the car and half an hour later you are already in one of these cosy cities!
